Fundamental campaign direction
・Promotion of a movement that encourages positive social participation by citizens
The Tokyo JC creates opportunities for social participation in all kinds of fields including the home, school, business and local regions. JC members take the lead in evoking interest among people and promote campaigns that encourage active social participation.
How to develop a campaign
・Developing a broad policy-based campaign
It is necessary that campaigns with similar directions go beyond the borders of the organization and are linked with other organizations from an early stage. This makes it possible to raise the quality of the JC movement and effectively realize policies. We will match each campaign direction and develop a broad-ranging campaign.
・Direct campaign development for realizing policies
In order to make Japan active, we must not only try to raise awareness among people, but must also reform the framework of society to what it should be. The Tokyo JC will propose to society a reform plan based on a fair and neutral position, and develop campaigns that directly lobby the government and administrations.
・Development of campaigns that deal promptly with current events and new concepts
Today, as we witness dramatic changes in the social environment, it is necessary not only to develop originally planned campaigns, but also to deal promptly with current events and new concepts. We need to perceive with the sensitivity of youth what issues there are and develop flexible campaigns in response.
Management and functions
・Management reform that enables organizational reform and flexible responses which utilize “people”
By utilizing liberal ideas and a multitude of values and ways of thinking of its members, the Tokyo JC will carry out bold organizational reform to link such ideas and values with our campaigns. While respecting rules and order, we shall introduce a system that enables management to be improved when it is needed, taking into consideration the necessity for flexible management.
